B & P's Oceanfront Wedding Celebration in Long Beach
Bridget and Patrik met through friends while living in San Francisco, and midway through the Covid-19 pandemic, they decided to move to Patrik's hometown of Long Beach for a new adventure. Patrik proposed overlooking the ocean with his grandmother's ring, and the rest is history.
We love a Friday wedding! Not only does it leave the bride and groom a whole extra day to spend with their guests, but it is also generally budget friendly. The bridal party were up bright and early as they prepared for the big day with Gold School Beauty and Beauty Bee. The couple opted for a sweet first look to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. The ceremony was held at one of the Hotel Maya’s beautiful outdoor plazas, a lush greenery was the perfect backdrop for their vows. Bridget was stunning, walking down the aisle to Leon Bridges' "River" that truly started a river of happy tears among the guests. The reception was filled with a buffet style “something for everyone” dinner, heartfelt and humorous speeches, and plenty of dancing. As as surprise, guests were escorted outside to board a traditional London style double-decker bus for the after-party at a local bar. The couple's smiles and love were evident throughout the entire wedding celebration from start to finish.
